no baby yet

well, the contractions were at 2 minutes apart by 4 am so we went into the hospital to be assessed. i am definitely in early labor but the real labor is a ways off. the nurses think it could be days yet before baby arrives.

so again, i'm going to sleep.

de: well they hurt fairly bad...but they didn't take my breath away. at least i learned what to feel for as far as contractions go.

de: sadly, the contractions stopped by 8am and i have maybe had 2 today (which is unusual, since most days i would have them throughout)...so i guess my body is taking a break to prepare for REAL labor.

jessi: apparently the contractions i had were not "real" labor so thats why they didnt accomplish the birth of baby :(
i learned that they have to be a low sharp cramp as well as the full womb tightening. the ones i had this morning were low cramps with a "real" one tossed in every once in awhile. definitely not regular. but at least now i know what to wait for.
