a tour of Diedre's room

her crib, swing and a very colourful quilt to look at.

here is another quilt and her dresser.

here is the reading and toy corner.

here is some artwork (note: giraffe and llama look very similar according to IKEA) and her closet.

here is a closeup of closet...derek thinks she has more clothes than either of us...i'm not so sure, but she sure does have many!

Yeah. Babies have the best rooms of the house that's for sure. Baby "G" hasn't even arrived yet and the stuff we have for his/her room is already nicer than our own. I mean..a climbing wall ? Sheesh ! Gonna have to get some of those alphabet holds...

Yeah A+D Rock, I'm surprised that even though you named your firstborn after a climb you don't have any holds on her walls. Regarding the comment Ben made, Diedre isn't very heavy yet and baby G won't be either so I was thinking you could use some of those alphabet fridge magnets? Yeah that would be cool! The insanity of it all.

Good decorating job guys! I still LOVE that really colourful quilt (hanging over her crib.)
I wish my wardrobe was that big too!

hetz - well, re: the climbing holds, derek did ask at one point when i was pregnant if he could convert half of the living room into a bouldering area...call me crazy, but i thought it might get in the way of having furniture in the living room or possibly hosting guests...not quite the nesting i was going for.

he never did offer to put holds up in baby d's room, but i guess he still has some holds up at baby G's so we'll just have to bring her over there.

andie - yes she has some adorable outfits, like the swimsuit! see cutest swimsuit ever

jodi - glad you like the decor. derek definitely got it started and then mom (grandma jen) and i finished it off. diedre is such a princess with a great wardrobe and she received so many wonderful gifts :D
