we had a wonderful baby shower at work. derek and grandma jen were there. there was a great turn out. i went early so diedre could nurse and be content for the party. she slept the entire time and i think everyone who wanted to, got to hold her.
it was a great time to see my work friends. last year, at one time, out of 13 women who could have been pregnant, 8 were! it was quite the baby boom. several of the new moms/dads/babies came to visit. it was a really nice time. diedre received some great outfits, some books, a nice purple blanket, a mirror for the car (so we can see her back there), a matching lamp, dust ruffle and crib sheet for the nursery and a high chair!
