dinner at the carabins, our old farm house. danielle was busy recording memories. we decided to go over there in the evening so derek could help rick get lumber for building a shipping crate.

rick, giselle & kent (they have super cute pics of elliot on their blog too). we have only "known" kent & giselle from the blog so it was really cool to finally meet them before they headed home to calgary. they drove so well and made it in 9.5 hours! awesome. they are "old" friends of rick & danielle.

the carabins. they're leaving on friday for nova scotia. they will live there indefinitely. we are sad to see them go...and they had a girl, only other girl in our older group of friends. snif

i'm really liking little Elliot. she is such a sweet girl. she is very fun to look at and very snuggly. i took lots of fun pictures that i posted on the carabin blog for them.


diedre's first popsicle (the nurse at peace arch was so nice, carrot cake yesterday, popsicles today, wow!)


cold popsicle. of course, my girl is still so sweet and cute. it was precious to look at her asleep in the car and see how she is still so much a baby. warms a mothers heart :)

diedre really wanted to climb into her old toy box (we got a new one from andrew & heather for my birthday). she really wanted all these animals in there too!

here is the side of the new toybox. its really nice, dark and woven with a lid. diedre will stand holding onto it, pull something out and then play with it without leaning against anything. we are very excited for her as she takes more risks in the direction of walking/standing alone.
